Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone what sort of transport options are available from Udon Thani Airport to the friendship bridge at Nong Kai?

Are there any direct bus services?

How much does a taxi cost?

Thanks

No bus directly from Udon Thani airport to the friendship bridge Nong kai but u will have to find taxi from Udon Thani airport to the bus station in the city the old bus station (near central plaza) not a new one there are 2 bus stations old and new.

Then find the bus easy to find nice bus directly to friendship bridge i dont exactly remember how much does the ticket cost but not alot around 100 baht something like that it takes time around an hour from bus station to friendship bridge...for more info u can ask information centre over there good luck:)

Cheers

You don't have to mess around like this.

When you leave the baggage pick up area there's a Limousine counter directly ahead of you. It's the closest booth and just to the right to the main entrance doors to the airport.

Buy a 200 baht ticket and be whisked away to the Friendship Bridge in 45 minutes flat.

Sounds more like it - cheers

The standard limo service is a mini bus or big bus. A private taxi also available but about 800 or more bath. Faster. Depends on what you like most.

In 6 trips to Udon Thani airport I've never seen a big bus. They have minivans. When one is full they fill the next one. A private taxi wouldn't be any faster unless the driver was speeding.

The vans are very comfortable. The service is efficient and there's absolutely no need for anyone to shell out for a private taxi.
