90 Day Reporting-necessary When You Have Done Other Business At Immigration Office

Featured Replies

I was supposed to do my next 90 day reporting on Feb 5. However, I applied for a multiple entry return permit two weeks before that date as well as made two trips out/back into the country so I have essentially supplied the same information to the government.

My last trip back, I just returned today (which is when I discovered I missed the 7 day deadline-if I still have to do the reporting...)

Do I still have to go fill out the form and report my address or is the granting of the multiple entry permit sufficient notice to the government of my address?

or is filling out the departure/arrival cards twice in the past month sufficient notice to replace the filling out of the 90 day address form?

Thanks in advance.

Filling out the departure/arrival card will start a new 90 day cycle.

Report 90 days from your last entry.

No need to report if you are out of the country. Your departure was logged by immigration retaining TM6 departure card. The 90 day reporting clocks starts again on re-entry, the day of re-entry counting as day 1.

Just to clarify (title) having other business at Immigration does not count as 90 day reporting. Only the first extension of stay or a TM.47 is counted as a report. But if you do not stay 90 days in Thailand there is no need for a report until you do.
