not the best when it comes to computers and teccie things but, bought a new tellie, computer and sound surround system...

Connected it all up myself - Computer downloads UK TV and can play it back on Tv - probably easy peasy to a teccie type, but feels like i've swum tha channel...

And, haven't the cost of tellies plumeted ??

Last Plasma i bought in the UK was 3,500 GBP - bought a new 42" one here for 20,000 B

I am holding out for 12,000B should be 6 months from now. :D But, I can't enjoy what I don't have yet. :D I am still using a 21in Samsung I got 11 years ago. :)

Plasma's will keep falling as they are old tech now, even the new LED's will drop huge amounts when 3D hits the store very soon.

I think 3D will be a bust.
