I am a single American man and I am looking for a nice, quiet, clean hotel or guest house with a big bed, and a big shower in Krabi for the third week of March.

Can anyone tell me a nice place for 1,000 to 1,2000 baht per night?

Bad advice, that's not going to get the OP local knowledge.

OP - J's Hotel, ask for a room with a view, they just rennovated their bathrooms, made them quite large, also right across the street from RCA which is where the girls are. 600 during low season, probably around 1,000 now.

Ao Nang Village Bungalows, Bao the owner, great guy, very nice people there, bathrooms not as large as J's rooms not quite as nice, but you should be in there for 800, fan rooms 600.

I doubt you'll find either of these on above mentioned websites, but google them, they should come up.
