What's the deal with YouTube when you get a message like....

I know Thailand is on a "bad boy" USA-compiled list regarding intellectual piracy. Do some posters consult the list, and then blacklist Thailand and block it from receiving certain video clips?

What's the threat, when virtually anyone in the world can download a clip and use it until someone protests the usage?

Just curious if someone has more solid/specific background information on what is behind these messages on YouTube....

After a Google to find out who the person was find it is an ABC TV program and they normally do not allow viewing of programs from outside the USA as they would prefer to sell the programs to cable systems, DVDs and such.

depends on the copyright owner, if they make a request to block Nations of their choice Google goes with that.

It normally means we don't get ad fees based on your location when it comes to counting the views. No pay No play
