The vehicles lost control and crashed into an 82-year-old woman who was waiting to offer alms, killing her instantly. The incident was captured on a viral video posted on the Facebook page “Jae Moi v+” and has since sparked outrage online. The video shows the two vehicles racing before one of them veers off course, striking the elderly woman. The drivers of both vehicles fled the scene after the crash. The sedan driver quickly abandoned the car, while a group of individuals helped remove belongings from the vehicle before disappearing. Local authorities responded promptly, and it was reported that the pickup truck driver, 28-year-old Suphalak Poolkhetkan, was located at a nearby hospital. A breathalyser test revealed no alcohol in his system, but his urine test came back positive, indicating the presence of drugs. The sedan driver, identified as the owner of a Honda Civic, managed to escape and is currently being sought by police. Investigators are hopeful that they will soon locate the driver. The incident occurred at approximately 06:15, as the woman was preparing to offer alms at the roadside. The authorities have already gathered evidence from the scene and are continuing their investigation. The Nakhon Sawan Police are actively pursuing the driver of the Honda Civic, and it is expected that they will make an arrest soon.
