True Vision - Free To Air Channels

Featured Replies

My wife receives the Free to Air channels via satellite decoder True Visions - i.e., she has a genuine 'smart card' but no subscription payable to access the 'pay' channels.

This morning Thai TV Channels 3, 5 and 7 are showing 'scrambled'; all other Thai TV channels are viewable as normal.

I've had a look at their website and rang the 'ring-a-ring-a-roses' telephone line and have done all the usual RESET actions but the situation prevails. No Channel 3, 5 or 7.

Can anyone suggest what's changed?

Have your wife call and talk to them to find out what to do. My be them, the decoder or the smart card.

Thanks, did that after all the reset moves failed to fix it. They said...mumble, mumble...leave it a couple of hours and ring later (in Thai of course!)

When we had UBC/True we had to pay 495 baht a month for the basic after down grading from gold or something like that. I don't think they have any that are really free, but its been years so maybe. We dropped that and got the same channels free with a Dsat dish 2000 baht and got a refund of 4500 deposit from UBC/True. ca ching
