Just assembled and commissioned a new DeskTop and into my 2nd day of 'Soaking' it. Well last night it started locking solid (no BSOD) every 5 minutes or so and I finished up going to bed to think on the problem. I kicked it in the guts this morning to try some things, the problem was still there and I was just about to do some serious hardware fault finding.

Then I saw it:- I had left my Mobile Phone about 50mm away from the Logitech Cordless KB/Mouse receiver. As soon as I removed it all OK.

There you go just a warning to others. Your phone near a radio or amplifier does not make horrible noises for nothing!

Had a friends ADSL keep dropping out cause they had put one of those high voltage arcing bug zappers about 500 MM from the phone line.
