More Motorcade Parades To Come For Sure

Featured Replies

After dwindling numbers, falling momentum, the red shirts are suddenly buoyed by their "successful comeback" during last Saturday's motorcade. Finally, they found a formula which seems to "work".

As such, expect more of the same to be launched (with more funds possibly coming from 'overseas' in support of this specific strategy). Will probably be much bigger next time too.

I all for the peaceful parade, they can use all the money they have this way. But no one has unlimited resource, so lets see what happens

I would think the next time there would be more bangkokians than protesters from the provinces - so no that much funds needed. Anyway one day demo over the weekend is easy organise and doesn't have to cost at all.

probably there need to be some volunteer guards, but cops as well will have to take care of the traffic and security.

Now they've announced a new parade.

I assume it will go to different locations than last Saturday.

If they went to the same locations they would probably get less support:

1) the people out last Saturday have seen the parade, so won't bother getting out to see it again.

2) the people who's businesses and lives were affected would probably get out to abuse the reds more.
