Is Realplayer compatible with the latest version of Firefox ? Until recently, when I tried to download You tube clips, I got the message "unable to download". When I checked Realplayer's website i read that they currently were having some compatibility problems, if I'm not mistaken.

Actually I've had those problems with Realplayer before and I'm getting a bit fed up with it. Is there a download program which is better than Realplayer : how about GOMplayer ?

VLC media player is liked by many. Check it out at Download.com

VLC Player (my first choice), Media Player Classic, GOMPlayer. For the latter two you may need Real/Quick codecs which you can get with Realtime Alternative and Quicktime Alternative.

There's a Firefox add-on called Downloadhelper which should do that.
