Calling Uk From Samui

Featured Replies

I want to be able to make clear calls to UK cheaply as possible.

I am using Skype at the moment, but the quality is not that great, bit of a delay most of the time - think its my upload speed (shared WiFi in apartment block).

Anybody able to make good quality calls? Is there a special adaptor or anything available to make the quality better? Would ADSL line help with my Skype quality?

Anyone know the prices via landline to call UK?

If you are using Skype on a dial up connection that may well be your problem.

ADSL should help dramatically.

Thanks Astral, its actually a broadband connection 0.79 up and sometimes 7 down, made a couple of calls today which were fine, but it comes and goes - will look into ADSL.

You can purchase a True Inter sim card for your mobile and calls to a UK landline are 1 baht. Calls are clear, better than when i receive calls from a Uk landline to my thai landline!
