New Housing Developments In Ubon

My wife and I are planning for our return to Ubon and will probably move to Ubon for kids education requirements. We firstly looked at renting in Ubon but are now considering buying a house there. On our many trips from Khemarat to Ubon we have noticed a lot of new housing developments on or near the ring road near the Trakhan or Amnat roads. I have visited a house in one of these developments years ago and was impressed by them.

I am after some more information on these or any newer developments in Ubon in particular some websites that I may visit that show the houses there etc. I have tried to google for some info but get very little information. Im sure I have seen a web address on some of the advertising signs that are near these developments.

Thanks in advance for any info passed on.

there is one new development beside the huai wang nong resevoir there are only about 4 houses built at the moment 3 of which are sold and one two bedroom one finished and for sale, the site is at the opposite end from the airport passed all the restaurants and over the road at the top, there is also a house for sale on the opposite side at the top in a small complex, its a nice peaceful area out of town but only 10 mins from town..

i think the n-joy bar also has an estate agency which might be able to helf further

I think you will probably have to visit the sires once you are here. Thai's are not really big on having websites with all the information you are looking for. There are a lot of new developments around the area though. Most do not have any signage at all though.

Hi there.

If you head up Soi 42 off Chayangkun Road (the soi is almost opposite BigC) there are about 3 or 4 new developments going on. One is pretty much finished, with about 50% of the houses purchased, at about 2.5m baht each. Another couple of developments are in earlier stages, with few houses built yet.

Good luck,

Mike

Rumours also about a new housing development in or around Tambon Kamyai but nothing started yet. When I hear more then I'll post as my in-laws keep finding out little bits of info: from neighbours in the area.
