Got my Xbox 360 water cooled up and running......ready to buy games.......... but where to buy Original PAL version of games - shop or internet ordering?

Don't know where you can buy original PAL games in Thailand. Perhaps onlilne might be your best bet for those.

Is your 360 a PAL only machine?

Yes.... PAL only....... new mother board and DVD from my nephew......... tried NTSC-J and does not work, only PAL so far. Play-Asia does not sell PAL games as far as i know.

I've thought about watercooling my 360, but to be honest the whine of the dvd drive is what does me in; how to fix that with stuff available in LOS?

nadzproject.com has a good selection of games. The site is in Thai but it's fairly easy to navigate any way. Also, if you call them, there's usually someone who can speak reasonably good English.

As for the DVD, i think most games you can migrate from your DVD to your HD, which runs much quieter and faster...but ask an expert for more info.

Once you install the game to the 360 the console plays game very quietly (as least it does on my Elite - my older, now non-working 360's made a racket!)

As for originals best bet is to use Amazon UK and get them delivered to family or friends in the UK and then use Air Mail

I used to get games this way before I got my consoles modded and if the game came out on Friday I would have it here in Bangkok the following Monday or Tuesday

FYI "Game" will not even let you order from overseas anymore
