Nio
Due to months without rain Khao Yai and many of the other places with waterfalls, have very little water. What use to be majestic waterfalls are nearly dry at this point in time. Khao Yai has nice large cabins for rent at the summit 100 meters or so from the Visitors Center. There is also the Grandview Resort with lake, tennis courts, mountains bikes and pool at the Khao Yai Prachinburi entrance. This is quite a large place http://www.kaoyaigrandviewresort.com/ It is so slow there I am sure you could swing a deal for rooms in your price range. (air con rooms normally 1400thb but as mentioned they are deadly slow) Not sure how the water condition is at Kanchanaburi, maybe someone can chime in? simcity
Try the award-winning Oriental Kwai resort, just google & see. Is the Oriental pet friendly ? http://www.doggiedoo.net/Dog%20Friendly%20Hotel.pdf show them as pet friendly, but nothing in the home page of the resort, i will check, when time permit. a list of friendly places post by someone in thaivisa is useless, 80% of hotels cited are not, i did not check the reliability of doggiedoo.net Thank Edited April 18, 2010 by simcity
