Godolphin
I purchased a Kindle from Amazon.com about a month ago. Very happy with it. I registered the Kindle in Australia. For anyone in the know, can I download on my Amazon account while in Thailand? I know I could google but I would like to hear more from people in Thailand now, if possible, please. jackbox
Yes you can but they will charge you something like an extra $1.50 per download over the whispernet. You have to have the newer version of the Kindle for international whispernet. The original version cannot roam as the new version can.
aoyamadigital
You can always download to your computer and transfer via usb to avoid extra charges.
