Trump announces he will impose 100% tariffs on movies produced outside the U.S. President Trump on Sunday announced movies as the latest target for tariffs because the U.S. movie industry "is DYING a very fast death." In a Truth Social post, the president said he's authorizing the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative to begin the process of imposing a 100% tariffs "on any and all Movies coming into our Country that are produced in Foreign Lands." It wasn't immediately clear how the tariffs would be applied. What is it about Trump that triggers you and causes you so much angst and unease
I think you described it very well already. And I'm sure you got your opinion already too. The essence of your post could be: Trump is fascinating in a good and bad way. A Jekyll and Hyde in one person. Change within minutes possible. He's marvelous in playing the media and a dork in terms of diplomacy. He disrupting the world's order and will shape the world in a direction his allies (does he have?) dislike and disagree. Even his enemies. I believe in common sense. Common sense of American people who have take the burden of disruption. They have to pay the price, not the millionaires. They misuse Trump for their kleptomaniac business. I reckon Trump will be POTUS not for the entire term when prices and inflation are rising high and also the interest rate. Economy will come to a downturn which will effect the whole world. I would expect the head wind starting after the midterms. Maybe even earlier. Trump will have to admit that his dreams will shatter. -

It will be a very big hurdle for the Dems to win in the next elections if they continue to ignore why they lost everything in the last election. They still have not opened their eyes as to why they lost and they still harp on issues that made them lose. Until, they actually see why they lost, they will continue to lose. The only thing that an change this would be if Trump fails miserably or destroys the countries economy, which from the looks of it, probably will be just the opposite. So far there has been nothing to show his plan with tariffs and government cutbacks has seriously affected peoples daily lives. Ohh, unless you are a Dem and dislike everything Trump does. Even the stock market is recovering. The trade problems with China are quietly being discussed as I read in those who report what China does not want their people to know. The immigration has been a great success if you ignore the Dems screaming at every minor thing. They still want to use the courts for political maneuvering. Making cases about 1 or 2 individuals caught by immigration and detained when during Bidens time as president they said nothing about the 70 US citizens accidentally being deported by immigration. This also is another reason why the Dems will lose the next elections. They are nitpicking everything but seem to forget more happened during their admin than now that was bad. Double standards, woke, using courts politically. These will prevent their winning anything unless they change tactics
