cmdream
Well I am trying to keep this civil and nice if I elaborated on your question above it would not be civil and nice would it so your right no straight answer but I am sure you can work it out. I can only assume that this is some of the bias that you have demonstrated in the past, and it is a good example of a reason that extremely thorough screening of TPV's needs to be done if they are to continue this program in ANY form in the future! I agree , let's just shitcan the whole idea, it is a useless program run by criminals. I never said it was run by criminals. I wouldn't be hurt if they "shitcanned" the TPV program nationwide though! If this thread is still open tmw I will take the time to go and look up some of the information that has been posted about the TPV program in Thailand. Have a ball !!! harrry
quote Just after 6am on Monday, Pattaya Police were on patrol along Walking Street and found a number of bars along the street which were still open for business in contravention of their licenses. Police believe that a network of security guards and Police Volunteers assist these bars and notify them when the Police are about to conduct a raid. Despite this, a number of bar managers were arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station. We are unsure if this is the start of a regular bar crackdown or not but the bars that were targeted on Monday Morning are expected to be open for business on Monday Night. end quote from Pattaya one http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/190...y-morning-raid/ I hope this is not the type of business cooperation some were involved in here. barky
What, all of them??My mind boggles with what kind of mass infringement they could all have participated in. Uniforms, you say.... They probably weren't sharing their ill-gotten gains with their Thai brethren. The Col. wants whiteys of the same quality and calibre as his Thai cops. Mai Mee! What else can you expect from those in Pattaya , for God sake they are volunteers , no police ' professionals ' , what they can do ? sack them ? I wonder if they have to sign something to become a volunteer prostitute police .... Anyway Thai police can't expect them to be something they arent themselves , don't think they can have any power over them , knowing them is not ... ideal and potential critical . Some never learn it while being in Thailand , don't let Police come close to you , some think its a good thing ....well for the liquor seller it is . Blinky Bill
This thread has recently become extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemly boring, girls. Get real. Any organisation that needs it's people to wear any sort of uniform will have some who will abuse the little authority they have, if any? I do find it amusing to see the odd overweight FOTP in their blue overalls prancing around the airport trying to look important. Peace Blondie, please reconsider you decision to re-open this thread.
