Best Way To Leave Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi I live in Pinklao and need advice on best way to leave city. Is i worth just trying to get to the airport or is there too much traffic? Should I head to Southern Bus Terminal or Hua Lampong Station?

probably safer to stay in Pinklao....

Avoid Europe... :)

Airports shutting down due to that wee Islandic volcano...koff koff...

Don't go north up Charan Sanit Wong to the airport if you choose to leave by plane. Go south and round the outskirts of the city towards Bang Na (staying south of the river), will take marginally longer and will cost more....who cares? The other route will have you passing through everything bad (Din Daeng, potential uprising in Lad Phrao).

Repatriate to southern provinces or neighboring countries like Malaysia, Laos or Vietnam would be a nice idea.

Wear red and get a free bus trip north?

Use a large trebuchet.
