From one of the videos of Arisman, many of his named targets have been hit, but there are still some remaining targets from his list that haven't been burned to the ground. I wonder when that will occur and what the ramifications will be. According to Arisman on this video, his list of targets for burning are:

Siriraj Hospital, All Muslim Mosques, Government House, Important Ministries, Airports, Rajavithi Road, Bridges, Bank of Thailand, Commercial Banks, Military Barracks, Court of Justice, and NGO's

will all be destroyed....

"Not one of these will remain standing."

(Underline added for focus)

Are they trying to start a religious war too? Fake 'class' war is not enough? And attack NGO's...I'm not even sure what to label that as...

I am happy those leaders came to their senses and did the right thing, both for their own followers and the other people of Thailand. I hope they get a fair trial and sentence.

My friend, they did not come to their senses at all, what planet are you on sir? They had no choice in the end,they were F*****D, if they had come to their senses before anyone got killed, then that WOULD have been their salvation, now, they are marked for life and who of them (including Thaksin) will stand up and admit that THEY GOT PEOPLE KILLED , NONE.

It's a lot easier to do the ostrich thing-----just show me a pile of sand lol

:):D :D

He also listed Siriraj Hospital in the to-burn list. HRM is at that hospital. :)

To set fire to Siriraj Hospital with HRM inside, That would be the final nail in the red shirts/Thaksins coffin and that would be considered treason.

No self respecting Thai would support putting the king in danger no matter how much money was involved.

I can't help fearing that these so-called 'leaders' will get away with either no or little jail sentence, as part of some kind of 'reconciliation deal' (!) . I hope my fears won't come true. I feel that everyone responsible must pay for their crimes.

Dozens died......hundreds of family members and friends of them are grieving......thousands have lost their property/goods and jobs due to the arsons.

I hope they pay strongly for their crimes.

I hope the PM has the strength to push and keep pushing for the harshest penalty against the red leaders, No reconciliation deals.

If that earns him the label of dictatorship, It will be a label he can wear with pride in my book.

Both the Pm and army exercised immense restraint in this conflict.

But when it finally came to the crack down, They executed it in a way that minimised losses on both sides.

They have to be applauded for that.

In addition to His Majesty the King, His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch of the whole Buddhist faith in Thailand is another VIP in-patient at Siriraj Hospital, having been evacuated there from Chulalongkorn Hospital when the Reds stormed that facility. He is 96 years old.

As for burning down all Muslim mosques in Thailand, the 2.2 million Thai Muslims might have a thing or two to say about the Reds burning down the 3,494 mosques that are in Thailand.

It's all in the hands of the courts now. It's not up to Abhisit anymore.

Well, looks like this is the photo of their prison cell:

Looks an awful lot like the crowded cells at the other Thai prisons:

Minus the privilege of no iron bars and ocean view, swimming pool and room service, of course. :)

Well, looks like this is the photo of their prison cell:

The Nation has comparative pictures of the 3 Red leaders sitting in these hardship beds and it looks suspiciously like it is the exact same bed.

It is the same, a thai newspaper pointed out identical rusts on 3 of the pictures shown by CRES (different people on each bed)

as stated elsewhere numerous times....

unless apisit and his govt do something PROMPTLY AND DRASTICLY in reference to:

army head;

police head;

person responsible for protecting and lying in reference to jatuporn's gang arrest and accommodation....;

person causing dead to so many unnamed citizen and foot soldiers....;

actual arresting and bringing to justice those terrorists and traitors including their chief....;

including proper measures ditched out to those senators et al.... who showed up and instigated the public at the unlawful rally....; and many other hot topics....;

apisit.... will very unlikely to have a second term....

on the contrary.... apisit is a very good and morally upright pm.... most probably the most upright pm ever....

but then his good nature and kind heartedness alone.... so far.... are not able to rule the unruly crowd....

and more importantly, whatever the internal politics and administrative problems are.... apisit must replace those figure heads--army and police--who did not act promptly and under the constitutionally afforded rights to deal with the unlawful demonstration-both before and after the rally....

apisit.... if you fail to act promptly, proactively and creatively.... not only you would be cast aside by the voting public but also the whole democratic party as well....

it has been a decade since pm chuan and democratic party occupied the lead govt seat...

PLS DO SOMETHING PROMPTLY, PROACTIVELY, IMPRESSIVELY AND CREATIVELY.... so the overall very good govt would be able to regain voters' confidence and their very much needed VOTES.... i and my family members numbering more than thirty would very much like to vote for you and the democratic party again....

BUT YOU MUST ACT DECISIVELY AND PROMPTLY NOW....

This is the end for the RED.

This is the end for Thaksin.

This is the end for TRT/PPP/PT.

This is the end of Thai democracy fight.

Last to leave, don't forget to turn off the lights.

I just can't seem to understand how they got to "turning themselves in"? Weren't they arrested? I think all the red revolutionaries would have been handed a "court date" before they were fed and placed on a bus after their "party." Does the govt/army/police -LOL every time when I think of them - know who the reds are/where they live etc???? Or maybe that was just too much trouble for the boys in brown.

GEEZE

Jatuporn Turns Himself In to DSI

UPDATE : 25 May 2010

Red shirt leader Jatuporn Phrompan has turned himself in to authorities at the Department of Special Investigation.

A large group of red shirt supporters arrived on the scene to cheer him on.

It remains to be seen, however, if he will be able to use his Parliamentary immunity and be released during the trial.

He did and was released from custody after today's appearance.

By not putting Jatupon in detention without bail, he will flee. He will do what Saxena and Thaksin did when in a tight spot with the law: He'll split, as will the other Red Shirt inciters if given half a chance to do so.

Jatupon's lawyer says he doesn't know where Arisman is. What a liar.

They all said in April that they'd turn themselves in to authorities on May 15th. Of course they didn't. Anyone who knows anything about Thais' 'word of honor' knew they wouldn't do what they promised.

Now authorities are lapping up more promises of other thugs promising to turn themselves in or not jumping bail, or whatever. Guess what, it ain't gonna happen - any more than Thaksin returning right after fleeing Thailand (to go the Beijing Olympics). Whichever judge(s) believed T, and allowed the scoundrel to split for China should be dipped in MSG-laden fish sauce and tied at the ankles to be dealt with by soi dogs down on Sukhumvit. Same for the idiotic cops who let Seh Daeng out of custody just days before the Red rallies started.

If truth were a growth hormone, these guys would be as big as fleas.

But how much time will they actually serve? Little, if any, in real terms.

Probably until the next election. If Abhisit doesn't hold early elections, that would be until about December 2011. So about 1 1/2 years.

You're assuming Reds and their friends will win the next elections. that's a BIIIIG assumption, my dear.

Burning and looting and firing grenades has a bad habit of losing you supporters. Even a few red supporters like Gemini and Ulysses changed their minds, when confronted by the Reds true agenda - chaos in the streets.

Ulysses was rather fair minded in my book. Don't know who Gemini is. However, there have been some ardent Red Shirt supporters posting on T.Visa. Most joined the first part of April this year. They join, they post furiously for a few days, using much the same phrases (probably the same person using multiple user names), then they usually disappear - though some resurface a week or so later and the pattern continues. Lately though, nearly all the virulent Red Shirt supporters have gone quiet. This adds credence to my theory that it's just a few people using multiple names. Red Sunset, Pornsasi, Theitalian are just 3 names I can recall, though there are about a dozen hard-core supporters who pop up and try to commandeer threads.

I don't see Payap Pangate on the lists above. He's the one who led the charge in to the hospital, and has probably done other acts of grandstanding bravado & intimidation related to the recent rallies. I also don't see Lt. Col. Waipoj Aponrat nor Aree Krainera on the lists of those confined. Both were on the scene military advisors at the rallies, and were probably aiding the Black shirt assassins who fraternized with the Reds. Just because they were military brass should not excuse them for being entangled with what happened.
