Pro-family campaign against pre-martial sex

BANGKOK: -- A Thai pro-family group has stepped up its campaign against pre-marital sex. They held their third workshop on Saturday to help raise awareness amongst Bangkok’s high school students.

“Thai teenagers nowadays think having sex is normal and that it is about gaining experience. They have been aroused by negative social factors and the media,” the chairman of the Association of Happy and Warm Family Promotion, Senator Rabiebrat Pongpanich told TNA.

More than a hundred students from 30 of the city’s schools attended the two-day workshop. They listened to lectures on how to lead a traditional life-style in modern society and avoid sex before marriage.

“The students will also be taught the art of self defence and develop leadership. They are expected to build up a network against pre-marital sex among their school peers after the training,” Mrs. Rabiebrat said.

Mrs. Rabiebrat told TNA that she was also concerned about the rise in sexual abuse and rape by younger boys.

“More students are co-habiting. Some offer sex for money. There is a rise in abortions and gang rape,” she said. A solution had to be found, she urged.

Ms.\Mrs. Rabiebrat said she disagreed with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security’s proposed law to protect mistresses.

The law would become a threat to the institution of the family, she said.

It would promote more immoral act, she said. The government should cultivate stronger family values instead.

with the current hazing of freshies in school, more students are becoming sex maniacs and sex workers.

similar to the extreme chirstian groups in america

Maybe they'll make some educational cartoons for the kiddies about to reach "that" age where selling sex and co-habition become dangers to the young and confused.
