A visa would be obtained from a Consulate outside Thailand and you would use the form they provide. If you are the father it would normally be a non immigrant O visa. An extension of stay would be obtained from Immigration inside Thailand and that would require the normal TM.7 form and cost 1,900 baht. That form can be downloaded and printed on both sides of an A4 paper or obtain from Immigration. You will find links in useful information pinned at top of this forum. lopburi3 Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 OK - it is actually a one year extension of stay if provided by Immigration rather than a visa and you would use the TM.7 form for that and have proof of money 400k or 40k income the same as for Thai wife extension of stay.
