July 5, 201016 yr I have a pfd file with Thai script, not secured, but how to get it back into a word document so I can work on it? I've tried the copy past and some programs to convert pdf to a word document, but nothing works. My words recognize Thai but when I try to open or convert the pdf it does not open in Thai. Anyone knows how to do this? Thanks.
July 5, 201016 yr It is just a guess but select all text in the pdf copy it to the clipboard (Ctl-C) then paste it to a new word doc. select the language in word to Thai.

I've tried copy past, ends up like this !//'!{:content:}amp;"&1$ "&"&ก3$%ก&' "#$% Because I could not paste it into a word document I've tried the google translate website for Thai language, you can past any Thai text in there, but the same result as above. No problem copying English language from the same document, but the Thai part does not work yet.
July 5, 201016 yr You might want to consider using Open Office, there is a very good PDF Import extension that converts PDF files to the native Open Office format. Its free, faster than Microsoft Office and PDF extension works very well, although I am not sure about Thai script.

Have a look in the Thai Language forum for info.

LOL, everyone posting a question about MS Office should suffix a prerequisite that suggestions to switch to Open Office aren't required.
