Xangsamhua
Is there an organization that places Buddhist tracts in hotel rooms in Thailand? A friend in the US picked one up from the Airport Hotel in Chiangmai and is reading it in the States now. Seems to be mainly about good conduct and he's quite impressed. LazyYogi
There is a Japan-based organization that does this, BUKKYO DENDO KYOKAI. The book is called "The Teaching of Buddha". The same book is as pervasive in Japan as the Gideon Bible is in the US. Here is the website of the organization's US branch: http://www.bdkamerica.org/default.aspx?MPID=

My friend is holidaying in Canada at the moment and can give me the details when he gets back to Michigan. The only Thai organization I can think of that would have the resources for a Buddhist Gideon's is the Dhammakaya Foundation.
