I am going to need a visa extention on my B multiple entry visa. My exit date is Sept 08 and I need to stay till around 23rd Sept. How do I go about getting an extension?

I am currently living in Korat but I will be in Bangkok for 1 day on 11th August. All suggestions gratefully recieved.

Indeed, what is the date your VISA expires. If you leave and return before it expires, you get another 90 days to stay in Thailand.

If the visa itself is already expired you have no other option than to leave Thailand as the maximum you would get from immigration would be 7 days and you probably have to show a ticket out within those 7 days.

What is your nationality?

I'm English My O visa is valid till next year and now I have a work permit valid till next May. The reason I need to extend is that I teach and the term ends 17th Sept and I aim to leave on 22nd Sept (and return 1st Nov) It seems a big hazzle to have to go out of the country on the 9th. sept to get the extension for 3 months when I only need 13 days and when I come back from UK I will get 3 months again. Do you know if its possible to go to the embassy in BKK and get it extended for a couple of weeks? Mike
