JohnnyFeelIt
I was looking at hotels in Pattaya on wotif.com and noticed this at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.. "restricted rate, not for thai residence - hotel will check passport on check-in" It's about the 9th or 10th one down and pop's up when you roll over, maybe I'm wrong but it looks like a better rate than would be avail on other sites, and definitely better than a walk in?... http://www.wotif.com/search/Advanced?country=TH®ion=7513&stlcmpid=ga_w45612
DP25
Locals will venture out of their hotel to eat and drink on their own, many tourists will arrange everything from food, entertainment, and tours through the hotel at overpriced rates
bangkockney
I was at the Royal Cliff a few weeks back, nice hotel. We booked a restricted rate and my wife took her English passport with her just in case. When we did check in, they didn't even ask for it. Everyone was far more interested in our little boy. They didn't even care that I had a non-im visa either.
