hello,

my non immigrant b visa is expiring end of august and therefore i need to get a tourist visa soon (looking for new job..)

Im living in bangkok. could anyone give me an advise, where to go from bangkok (easiest way) to get a visa?

i know that it was possible in vientianne to get a dble entry tourist visa for 60 days (pls option of 30 days extension at the immigration in bangkok plus after that another 60 days, doing a border run plus finally another 30 days at immigration, so a total of around 6 months)

is this still working?? any alternatives (also single entry would be interesting..)as vientianne is quite a trip from bangkok, if not flying to udon...

The Vientiane option you mentioned is still available with the double entry tourist visa and 2 x 60 days and 2 x 30 days extensions.

If you don't mind the extra expenses then you could fly down to Penang or Kuala Lumpur but they don't issue double entry tourist visas as far as I am aware.

Tourist Visa are free at the moment.
