HI ALL,

I APPLIED FOR WORK PERMIT VIA LEGAL AGENCY MORE THAN 1 YEAR AGO. FOR WHAT I REMEBER I DIDN'T PROVIDE ANY UNIVERSITY OR SIMILAR CERTIFICATE. MAYBE JUST A RESUME (CV).

MY FRIEND WOULD LIKE TO APPLY FOR WORK PERMIT IN HIS OWN, WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM LEGAL AGENCY. IN THE LABOUR DEPT DOC LIST, IT SHOWS THAT SHOULD BE PROVIDED ORIGINAL UNIVERSITY CETIFICATED TRANSLATED AND SIGNED ALSO BY OUR LOCAL EMBASSY (he didn't brin).g any certificate to Thailand).

THE JOB IN THAILAND DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL SCHOOL OR DEGREE.

SO, IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO PROVIDE SUCH ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES? ANY OTHER WAY TO AVOID IT (filling some other forms) ?

SINCE THE JOB DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL DEGREE (knowledge of a special language) COULD HE JUST FILL WITH BASIC KID SCHOOL?

Really great. thx for the link. i was thinking it's enough but not sad sad...

i just knew from Labour Dept that internet informations are wrong and the official said they not care much about updating. they gave me an update paper with a bigger list of required documents .

about original degree certificates, no one is needed, just fill a form where your state your study. even the CV-Resume isnt' necessary (or maybe the previous form cover both).

You wil find that what is necesarry depends greatly on the labour office you will be using.
