Is Everything Slow

Featured Replies

My True adsl and also a couple of dialups I tried seem to be incredibly slow the last couple of days... anyone else having problems?

Neph.

Incredibly slow ? Ive never known anything else !

Incredibly slow ADSL speeds are normal now. What would be surprising is if anyone got a decent service for the not so inexpensive price they're paying.

My adsl usually runs totally fine and i can easily grab 2gig in 12hours. But anyway, the problem is between the thailand - Korea line, pings quadruple in length on that hop :o

Nephilim may i ask what package ur on (ie meg) and is it P2P also.

Just curious

The bottle neck is CAT Telecom's international fibers and bad maintenanced cache/proxies. Your ISP is normally intelligent enough to run a quality business. TiT.

Im on the True 512k / 256k and my fastest d/l occur from private FTPs and nntp accounts. Via nntp i can get 2gig in about 14 hours, which is comparable to back in the UK.

P2P sucks in this country, I don't know why. No matter which client, it's slow.

You're not alone.

It is now 3 or 4 weeks of noticably degraded performance from my true adsl. I find it incredibly frustrating. There was another thread started back when this mess first started.
