steve187
Mods Would it be possible to create a sticky that shows the latest position with border crossings, as Myanmar has been closed for some time, and with all the goings on at Preah Vihear temple. it would in my opinion be good to have a one click link to the latest information. I have a border run to do on the 24th, and was looking to go to Myanmar for a change, and to make a bit of a holiday out of the journey, it looks like I will have to go to Cambodia now, but that could change at short notice. I have to do my first run next month with USA Non- imm "B" Multipy entry visa and would like to know if this is a straight forward as: 1. bus from CM - Mai Sai. 2. Tuk- tuk to border. 3. Cross border . 4. Spend 30 minute (oh cool Myanmar). 5. Come back to Thailand with new 90 day stamp... Sound about right everybody. Please share your experiences on CM - Mai Sai border run. Edit: maybe I should do a new post for CM - Mae Sai border run" Edited August 11, 2010 by kcore

But I am still asking me something: I have a tourist visa with double entry and the firts entry is almost done , so I would like to know if I can go to the BURMA border and get the stamp for my second entry. I go to chiangmai for a while to see my girlfriend and I woud like to do my visa at the same time. I hope someone could help me . Thanks!
lopburi3
You must go to a border entry that is open and do so before your date of expiration on the actual visa. Mai Sot is not currently an option but other crossings are open. So basic answer is yes you can go to Burma at open crossings.
