crossroadschiangmai
Visa on arrival is easy, our Vietnamese partner will issue a letter and you can get a visa when you arrive there. Visa on arrival = US $ 25 and service = US $ 35. Total is US $ 60 which is probably not more than when you let an agent apply for you in Bangkok because that is what they do (send your passport to Bangkok). With visa on arrival you do not even have to leave your house and your passport stays with you. Hans Any Idea on the price Loaded? cheers for the input. thaimiller
This will be like the service that many companies online offer at $45 then I suppose? I would rather have a visa in my passport before I set off than get to Vietnam and something be wrong. gotlost
Say, have you thought of getting it in Bangkok since that is where you'll probably fly out of. Good friend tells me he gets his in 1 day express, its a 90 day multi 5000,baht. Just a thought. (yes, I'm off as well lol) However, if you consider you have to be there first thing in the morning, it means you have the added cost of a hotel for the night before and possibly that night as well, as we fly out early. So far I'm finding the average cost of sorting it out from a travel agent to be 1800 - 2000 B which is fine, it's more to know which are more reliable than others. Thanks to all for their advice so far, please keep it coming
lingnoi1977
Online Visa on Arrival is very convenient but depending on which city you fly into and how many planes have landed at around the same time as yours, there can be up to an hour or more wait for the visa. Definately get the visa stamped into your passport beforehand. Lane way adjacent to Twin Peaks condo has a said to be reliable travel agent. Quite a fw farangs use them and I have not heard of problems. Changklan road not far from Pantip plaza intersection.

Loaded
Any Idea on the price Loaded? cheers for the input. 2,100 THB they charged me. I think more if you want an express service. I think mine took 4 or 5 working days to come through. They use a Vietnamese consulate in Khon Kaen, Issan I believe.
