Peterbigeyes 11
Just like some opinions on high performance HDD. Given a choice, which would you prefer? WD VRaptor or Seagate Momentus XT?
Spoonman 2341
I would go the VC over the hybrid, for some reason the hybrid ( a conventional HDD with a small flash memory) just does not sit right with me. If you going to stay conventional best of to go with the tried and true VC in my books.
Peterbigeyes 11
Thank you for the input : ) I'll be going with the Vraptor. A friend just recently got it and strongly recommanded the Vraptor.
lomatopo 1428
I've used the 150 MB 'Raptor HDD in my two most recent builds and am happy with the performance. These go on sale regularly at Newegg for $99.99 (from $139.99) so I buy when they go on sale and then bring back during my trips. (They were just on sale last week and I bought two more!) I may switch to SSD's in a year or two as my requirements are not so demanding. Edited October 1, 2010 by lomatopo
