HelenM
Hello, Not a nice one this topic, but i am wondering where i could possibly start looking for a carer for my very sick father in law who is in the last stages of bowel Cancer. He lives in Chumphae and he is on his own. Does such a thing exist nearby or shall i give up now.? Many thanks
gotlost
This may be of help. http://www.nursingcenter.com/prodev/ce_article.asp?tid=939731 Suggestion contact local hospitals. You are close to Khon Kaen and Udon. Wish you the best.
Prajak
So sad this story. Do you look for help at home or in a hospital or nursing home ? You are not so far from the university hospital Srinagarin in KhonKaen and if your father in law is a Thai national than he can go there. In Nongkhai a farang died (liver cancer) and he had 2 retired nurses in his house 24/7 to take care of him and to supply the morphine pills in milk...... But there was no palliative care possible. For palliative care you must be in hospital.
