I have a US passport, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience adding additional pages to it.

The thing is, I ALREADY added additional pages to it when I was traveling in Africa. Can they add MORE additional pages? The Thai WP stamps have really decreased the number of free pages I have.

Plus...my passport doesn't expire for another 6 years. I've seen some passports that looked liked they had 12 stamps on one page...but that was a Swiss friends. Can i expect for immigration officals to just keep cramming them in...or am I likly to be denied entry sooner or later?

Not sure if your embassy can or will add pages a second time, however, you always can apply for a new p/port to replace the full one. You may request a larger, 48-page passport at no additional cost, I understand.

Bring the new p/port together with the voided 'old' one to immigration and they will transfer your permit of stay free of charge.

In my general experience, immigration guys around the world like to use a new page in new p/ports, once they realize that you travel a lot, they are more considerate and squeeze them in. I also ask them to do so.

And don't forget, shold you want to travel to a country where a visa is required, they usually want at least one full page for their own visa to be clued or chopped.

You can add as many pages as you like and it is all for free. Come to think, this is the only thing they do for you for free. I added pages to my old passport 4 times.

I was under the impression they would add pages (24 at at time) 3 times then require you to get a new passport. At least that is what I was told last year when my second refill was done at BKK consulate.
