It will beinteresting to see how many people the feudal lord of Ayuthaya will turn out as he is in the running to head up the ole PTP and this is a test for him.

8,000... so more than the last rally, but less than the one previous to that.

Wow, so the candidate is a real 'man of the people', and enemy of the elite, then ?

Unfortunately when PM-Abhisit offered the Red-Shirt leaders an election in November, live on national-TV, they initially liked the idea but, after one of them got an SMS from an unknown person, they then firmly rejected the offer.

Who could that be...

Maybe Santa. ...

btw. Abhisit never really offered an election in November.

Do you have a source, for it being "maybe Santa", or is that what the script says, along with the simple untruth that "Abhisit never really offered an election in November" ? We all saw it, live on Thai TV, or was that all a 'fake-video' from the 'usual sources', too ?

I know it's embarrassing, but honesty should compel you to admit, we'd be in the run-up to an election right now, and 91 people might still be alive, but for this mistake by the 'unknown person' who gave the orders ?

Whatever, it's good news that this rally was allowed to proceed, and went off peacefully in Ayuttaya, with an election-campaign due in the coming year. B)

with flooding everywhere and nothing else to do these red parties surely should attract more people even if they have to come by boat ;)

Red shirts would not be prevented from submitting complaint to United Nations chief Ban Ki-Moon

So let them. The UN deals exclusively with (member) sovereign governments. This is just a stupid publicity stunt by stupid people, for stupid people.
