Get Ready For Xp Sp3.

Featured Replies

You would have to be crazy to install that SP3 before waiting for the usual 6 months fukup from MS

I am still amazed how users still use the Automatic Windows Update, fuxored their machine and then complain.

If you want a stable WinXP or Win2000, only apply selectively the security patch and DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING else for the next 3 or 6 months. When it's stable keep it that way, don't add unecessary patch that will only make your PC more open to bugs and security breach.

I'm in nooooo hurry to upgrade. I installed a clean copy of XP with SP2 integrated a few months ago and it's been rock solid since. It's the first time I've ever had a stable Windows.

I wish they'd release a minimalist version of Windows without all the horrible little tools and bits of junk...might be more reliable too...
