Visa Run To Manila

Featured Replies

Good Day All;

I am in need of getting a 90 day visa for my son, he will be going to university here and will get the ED visa when he returns but his current Visa runs out before the school year begins in January. I was thinking of sending him to Manila for a couple of days for a new Visa, any experience with the Embassy there? Would Hong Kong be better?

I am open to suggestions and experiences.

Thank you

C

Just about any place would be better than Manila - they, justifiably, have the worst reputation of any Thai Embassy for visa issues. I have seen a few semi positive reports recently but I would not recommend a trip there for a visa unless you had other plans to visit. Vientiane is a normal choice for easy visa issue.

actually i am thinking to go to manila myself too in the future. If you do go, please keep us updated! cheers!

Thai embassy in Manila issue a visa for travel to Thailand...:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It does appear that going to Manila for a visa is a bad idea, at least from these two posts. Anyone have some experience here? If not I may not take the chance and make a run to Hong Kong or Laos as one author posts.

Where would you'all suggest?

Regards

C
