Windows Updates

Featured Replies

After having read that microsoft is cracking down on pirated windows OS, i am not quite sure now whether to download the latest updates available. I have been downloading religiously until now.

I have win XP pro on both my computers. Have any of you experienced any irregularities after downloading these latest updates?

Hmm, I turned off auto-updates ever since I installed WinXP sp1. Since then, I've only downloaded the RPC vulnerability update. This is because I don't like it when some update for some vague problem crashes my computer (happened twice). I don't see a problem with not updating, as long as you practice safe computing (firewalls, scanning, alternative browser, etc).

I think I'll just wait until SP3 comes out, and do a reinstall.
