Last Tourist Visa From Kota Bharu

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've just returned from the thai consulate in Kota Bharu, where I got a single entry tourist visa, but was told it was the last one I can get there. I had 2 previous tourist visas from this consulate. If I go to another consulate, say Vientiane, next time, will I be able to get another tourist visa?

Thanks.

Being refused at one location will not mean being refused at another location. Khota Baru seems to be more strict at others.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane/Laos has been very friendly in the recent past , however since 2 month they have started to reject applicants with more than 2 Tourist vIsas in their passport, regardless of where and when the previous tourist visas have been issued.

Thank you for your report, cjharnett. I have added it to the list "Latest Reports Of Getting A Visa In The Region"

Thanks for all the replies. Pretty much what I've been hearing but good to hear all your thoughts. I will probably try Vientiane next time.

Be well.
