Work Permits For Promoters

How is it possible to work legally as a promoter for a business? Last year i did some promotion for a club in Phuket. They said they had some documents that covered the promoters, so we didnt have to worry about getting caught by immigration. Unfortunately i left the company before getting my hands on a copy.

I have not heard about this before though and now i want to do some more promotion work but after hearing about the crack down on illegal workers i want to make sure i am covered. Any help is much appreciated.

If you have a work permit it is legal, if you don't it is per definition illegal.

Generally an "emergency" WP is a once a year deal, you cant get multiples in the same year, however, with that being said, it usually depends on who is asking for the emergency WP, know of guys who have had 2 or 3 in the same year
