Just want to make sure I can apply for a thai tourist visa at the embassy there.

How many days will it take?

Will I be required to show a ticket to leave the country, as after I get the visa, I plan on going back to university here in Thailand so I'll be changing it from a tourist visa to an ED visa.

Would it be easier to apply for a visa in another country other than Myanmar?

If I do do it in Myanmar, any decent hotels you can suggest with Internet would be great.

About Hotel with internet in Yangon I can't help. Internet has never worked in the places I have stayed there.
