DrChopper
I am thinking about spending a few days in Hua Hin over Xmas. I've never been so would appreciate any advice on where to stay. I'd want to be near the action. Thanks All
gamini
The sofitel is fabulous. My friend comes from Europe each year just to stay there. It is expensive but good value for money. Otherwise there are plenty of cheap hotels and probably plenty of parties going on in the bar girl area, if that's your scene.

keestha
Subamitra Hotel, easy walking distance from the nightlife area, 032-511208. Fan rooms with hot water and TV 535 Baht, aircon rooms also available. They have a swimming pool, a restaurant which is good for breakfast, and a large parking lot for your chopper. DrChopper
Thanks all for your input. Just to update the Sofitel is more than we wanted to pay, the Fulay was full. We stayed in the Subhamitra and it was great value in a good spot. Cheers.
ArtVandalay84
I stayed at some place called Baan Chilion or somthing like that. Not to sure but I do know it was not far from the Hilton and it was great. They had a pool on the roof and the people were super nice.
