How can I minimise import duty on my personal use musical instruments?
Yes, that is a concern. Thanks for the link. Does that mean someone with dual citizenship, say UK and Ireland, could get an O visa on the Irish passport and then get the FTA benefits or would they have to live in Ireland? Asking for a friend 😉 -

Report Thai Border Opens Briefly for Urgent Cambodian Medical Need
Picture courtesy of KhaoSod In a remarkable show of regional cooperation, Thai officials temporarily opened the Ban Khlong Luek crossing in Sa Kaeo province to ensure urgent medical care for a Cambodian man. This swift action came just an hour before a planned closure of the border. The patient, 31-year-old Dee Vanjan from Poipet City in Cambodia, experienced a sudden heart condition. Accompanied by a companion, they urgently sought to cross into Thailand via the Thai-Cambodian Friendship Bridge. Despite mounting diplomatic tensions—highlighted by recent restrictions on Cambodian vehicles entering Thailand and Cambodia's halt on Thai oil imports—officials from the 1201st Ranger Company and Aranyaprathet Customs prioritised humanitarian needs. An ambulance from Kasemrad International Hospital was dispatched to the crossing, facilitating Mr Vanjan’s immediate transfer to the Thai facility for crucial medical treatment. Authorities expedited all immigration processes, underscoring the importance of cross-border cooperation in life-threatening situations. This exceptional border operation occurred amid a backdrop of shifting policies. Earlier that day, tensions spiked when Thailand imposed restrictions in response to Cambodia's actions. However, the pressing medical emergency prompted a temporary easing of these restrictions. The collaboration exemplifies how, even in complex geopolitical climates, humanitarian considerations can prevail. Mr Vanjan remains hospitalised under continuous care, benefiting from the quick actions of both Thai and Cambodian authorities. As border closures were implemented by Lieutenant General Amarit Bunsuya after the patient’s transfer, this incident provides a poignant reminder of the crucial role of international cooperation in addressing urgent humanitarian needs. Report Bhumjaithai MP Pressures Health Ministry Over Cannabis Chaos
They should keep it legal and just have it sold by proper, certified dispensaries and not every somchai along the street, or by bars. Places that sell alcohol should not be allowed to sell weed. I've been to places where they had no idea what they were selling, zero knowledge. -
