Non O Easy Just With Cert?

Featured Replies

Do you think i will be able to get a 3 month Non O just with my marriage certificate?

Most Thai Consulates will issue a Non Imm O Visa using your Marriage Certificate if your Spouse is Thai.

Is that all i need though..? I don't have a copy of my wifes cert, or her id card.

What do you mean "wifes cert" ?

You will need to show 100,000baht in a bank account in KUL, there are other documents that

you need plus a letter from your wife asking them to issue you a Visa.

I mean her half of the marriage certificate.

I only want 3 months, not 12. Do i still need 100,000?

What do you mean her half of the Marriage Certificate, you are given two at the Registrar

you only need one to go the Consulate with, but you will need a letter from her asking

them to issue you a Visa and a copy of her ID Card to confirm.

You could be divorced and trying to use this way to get a Visa, that is why they need the

ID Card and a letter from her as well as the Marriage Certificate. The money is to prove that

you can look after her, although 100,000 is usually for 12 months, so not sure how much you

will need to show.

Also where are you expecting to go to get this Non O?

Hmm.. i havent seen her for 3 years.. thats the end of that idea then... thanks :(

Not the end, it would greatly depend on where you would apply for the visa. Especially outside of Asia you would stand a fair chance getting it.

I believe so.. but i havn't been outside Thailand in 9 years.. except to Laos for visas.. I also went to Penang and KL once but never again!!!!!

I have "kor lor" 2 (copy) and my certificate of marriage (original) , also "tor lor" 14/1 (original)

I can speak Thai like a Thai too.. that always helps.

Should i just try and blag it in laos?
