Flatouthruthefog
There are more than a few hints here that you are of Scottish ancestry. So I have to ask whether you are now based in the US of A? 'Cos everywhere else, VANS have no windows behind the front doors, apart from in the rear-facing doors. That's because they are for carrying goods and that's why they are called vans. Vehicles known as 'buses' have windows for the people to see out. So it seems to me that you have a small bus (known properly as a mini-bus). Call me pedantic (and worse - and I'm sure some will) but why have so many nice descriptive words and not use 'em, huh? 'Cos everywhere else, VANS have no windows behind the front doors, apart from in the rear-facing doors. That's because they Australia also calls a minivan a 'van', not just the US. Also, van is short for caravan which originally meant a covered vehicle.

MoonRiverOasis
Congrats on the new van Jockstar There are more than a few hints here that you are of Scottish ancestry. So I have to ask whether you are now based in the US of A? He's quoting Australian model data, so my guess is he's in Oz
powderpuff
Sure looks like a mini bus to me.
BSJ
A Van. What's that? A big metal box with an engine and wheels. People mover....add more seats and windows. The iLoad is a good van and Hyundai dealers are doing some great deals in Oz. I think they are kicking the crap out of Toyota on van sales. Nissan aren't even in the game. But you can buy Euro vans- Citroen, Fiat, Renault & Peugeot if you want something a little different.
fredob43
Sure looks like a mini bus to me. In England a van dosen't have side window's, but a mini bus dose + different seating set up. This look's like a cross between the two. Great idea if you have a family and want to transport good's as well. Enjoy.
harrry
Behind the seat windows are often included in cargo vans for safety as they enable the driver to see traffic comming from an angled intersection.
harrry
For an Australian there are vans and "shaggin waggons"...everyone there beyond a certain age has memories of a Holden Panel Van with a mattress in the back. Even saw one with a signwritten sign. "Virgin Conversiion Unit...mobile office."

It's a van with a 'crew cab'.. that's all.. seen them in the UK also, albeit in the larger merc vans. Nice motor Jock, one question, why Petrol and not diesel ? totster

dutchrdam
Hello, thanks for the extra photos and specs. It look all great and wish you many happy Km's in't. About the name van or bus i think they call this by us a "bouwvakkersbusje". But for me i don't care how you call it. It look good and if it drive good then it 's a good combination. HAL9000
Or like the classic VW Kombi - a microbus and a cargo van. The pics aren't loading today, but I've seen the Hyundai before. Nice van indeed. I'm on my second Hyundai Accent here. Had one in the US too.
