connda
Does anyone know where I can find a list of prices for new cars and trucks sold in Thailand that are 500,000 baht or less. I'm on a budget and I'm paying cash (no financing). I'm retiring here and whatever I buy I will drive into the ground (I don't care about resale value). Considering that buying a used car seems like a crap shoot here in the LOS, I've decided to go for the new a vehicle. Thanks!

phutoie2
Sterling effort MRO!, the OP will be fortunate to find a brand new pickup for under 500k! Nissan have the Frontier Navara XE AT 500,500, its only a single cab though, ie just two seats in the front. You could always put a carryboy on the back and convert it to a 7/9 seater!, I know I have looked into it but this Navara is pretty basic spec. The XE Manual King Cab so has back seats is 524,000, very basic spec, would be cheaper than a canopy on a single cab without air-con in the rear and some sort of seats. But would not something like a year old SUZUKI - WAGON R PLUS - 5Dr 1,000 cc Turbo Auto for 400 - 450,000 not be better ? has Airbags + ABS + Cd as standered ? Most of the cheaper new pickups + some of the cars DO NOT have ABS or Airbags, and just a radio if lucky. Edited January 17, 2011 by ignis
