Me: Hi Katya, how long does it take before the domain forward of a new website is effective ? Waiting all day here... domain= mydomain.com

Katya: checking, just a moment please

Me: kk thanks

Me: forward has been set to mydomain.net

Katya: the settings are correct

Me: I guess so

Katya: I get redirected to http://mydomain.net/

Katya: most likely you are still getting a cached page

Katya: please wait until your ISP clears their cache and try again

Me: what this has to do with my ISP ?

Katya: they pull out a page from their cache when you go to mydomain.com

Katya: everyone who uses a different ISP can view the page correctly

What does this mean ??? When I publish a new website it's always online immediately, what is this about ?

Using CAT CDMA, a friend in Chiang Mai using 3BB also cannot open it...

Why do you use domain forwarding? That sounds like a cludgy way of setting up DNS.

Anyway, check out GoogleDNS or OpenDNS, switching DNS to one of those may fix your problem.

Just registered this domain and domain forwarding normally works fine just for the time being.

The 2 given DNS sites are abracadabra to me, it should just work. Using VPN everything works fine, what's wrong with Thai internet ?

Thxx;)

It is the ISP's transparent proxy or DNS cache which u can not bypass unless u use VPN. U have to wait until the cache expires :whistling:

Try using OpenDNS IPs are 208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

the website is working on my 3BB connection.

Funny, I thought I changed the real names of the domains, to avoid comments about 'spamming' ... Just now I understand I only changed the text :unsure:

The trap of copy 'n paste...
