I want to listen to my mp3 music in my car. But the cd-player do not read mp3.

So, I used Nero to burn a cd, did not work. Any other programs that I should try ?

Not sure of Nero menu but did you burn as music CD rather than as data? Believe there is always a selection, however named, that must be correct. I would consider replacement of current old CD player if it can not play MP3 material. Expect it is cheap to do but no experience.

No guarantee that the CD player can read burned audio CDs anyway.

Expensive solution is to buy a new radio with an USB slot, cheap solution is a MP3 - FM transmitter with an USB slot. The advantage is that you just plug in your memory stick and there you go. No CD mess in the car, easy to change the songs and long play time. I use the FM transmitter for years and I'm very happy with it.

That's what I did (burn audio cd). I also did a test whith Ashampoo Burning Studio, same result. Another 6 Baht down the drain

Expensive and not that easy to use for some..... the main unit plugs into the cigarette lighter which means, depending on its location, you have to take one hand off the wheel and both eyes off the road if you want to scan through the tracks, you can't just give it a cursory glance, not really recommended on Thai roads.

Change the current CD player in the car for one that can play MP3 files. With a good one it can read the tag info and display it too.

(P.S. are you still in Thailand oh chuncky one?)

One possibility is the car cd player may not recognize the cd disc format. Check the owners manual, see if it takes + or - R cds.

Also check your cd burner if it can burn + or - R cds.

If the burner will do both, try using the other format than the one you have tried.

The OP may also want to:

- Burn at a slow rate (1x, 2x or 4x speed)

- Use "quality" discs from brands like Imation, Sony, TDK, Verbatim etc.

Well, I guess I have to get used to the radio.
