Downloading Tv Programs And Films

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I often see mentioned in various threads comments about downloading TV programs and films.

Could anyone recommend any download sites please. Do these tend to require a subscription or are they free.

Cheers.

If you're into American TV and don't mind bit torrent, eztv.it has what you're looking for.

...but we always make sure that we do not download copyrighted contect, right? B)

If you are a Brit..... www.uknova.com is the best place for British TV. You can join for free

I think you are from UK.

Google The Box.bz, UK Nova, TV Chaos.

All free :)

Lite Beer,

Was it my accent that gave me away? B)

Thanks again.

There is also btjunkie.org as well for TV films, software etc but be careful as there are some copyrighted stuff to avoid :whistling:

Many sources including 1337x, kickass, TPB, the 'demon', just to name a few...

So happy with Emule P2P software, unlimited choice, but contains illegal copyrighted stuff too :whistling:

Thanks guys,

So many to choose from.

Why has it taken me so long to get on this bandwagon?

Be careful with some of those sites. They require you to upload as much as you download to make it fair for everyone. You can easily get yourself banned if you start off like a bull in a china shop.

Thanks Lite Beer,

I'll bear that in mind.

easy to defeat...just remove site's registration tracking cookie and re-sign up under a new username. works a charm...have downloaded about 1.5TB from one "sharing" site and shared back maybe 250GB or so. Not by design but because upload speeds are so much slower than download speeds.

TheBox is quite strict about ratios,

UKNova less so.

I use The Pirate Bay. Never had a problem with ratios or with a virus. But I only download from "trusted" or "vip" members. And I virus scan daily as well as use a good firewall for port scans. I think Demoniod tracks ratios, but not 100% for sure. I usually find TPB has more content that others. But also has a lot of junk...

With the lousy TV we have here, this is a lifesaver for us. It's pretty much all we watch. And use our Western Digital Media player to deal with the various codecs. I haven't burned a DVD in over a year.

And of course all this is non-copyrighted stuff...all public domain! :)

P.S. Don't forget about ebooks...if you are into reading...
