Xp Sp2 Has Added A Bluetooth Driver

Featured Replies

For a few years now I have been using a Belkin BlueTooth USB dongle as my wireless connection on two NoteBooks. It performed flawlessly until, after reading the pros and cons in various magazines, I installed Windows XP Home SP2. I might add there was a small mention of the BlueTooth thing which I had forgotten about.

Now I cannot hold a ‘Dial Up’ Connection and to complete it I must go through a back door procedure. My IR connection to GPRS has not been compromised.

SP2 had installed a 2nd BlueTooth Driver which I uninstalled but this did not help, bloody Bill Gates just can’t leave it alone.

Any ideas?
