Following the incident, protesters ransacked the police station in the town of Sidi Bouzid, which was the starting point for the country's uprising. The two youngsters were arrested, late on Friday morning for charges of drunkenness, possession of knives and parental disobedience. An inquest is under way to find out the circumstances and conditions of the incident. In December, a street vendor from Sidi Bouzid set himself on fire after his fruit cart was confiscated by police. This sparked nationwide protests that sent former President Ben Ali into exile after 23 years in power. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2011-02-
